Which facial should I book first?
A signature or basic hydration facial. A first appointment is partly an assessment — your esthetician needs to see how your skin actually responds before recommending anything stronger.
Which facials are safe during pregnancy?
Look for treatments labeled Safe in Pregnancy, including the Calming Prenatal Facial, Basic Hydration, GlyMed+ Signature, and Glowing Vitamin C. Certain active ingredients should be avoided during pregnancy, please let us know when booking so we can select the safest treatment for you.
I have acne — what's right for me?
For congestion and blackheads, the Acne Clearance Treatment or a HydraFacial. For active, inflamed breakouts we’d want to look at your skin first — sometimes the answer is a calming treatment now and resurfacing later.
What's the difference between a facial and a HydraFacial?
A facial is manual and customisable, with hands-on extractions. A HydraFacial is device-driven and very consistent, with essentially no downtime. See our HydraFacials page for the full comparison.
Can I wear makeup afterwards?
Better not to for a few hours after extractions, so the pores can settle. After a gentler hydrating facial it’s fine — though your skin will look better without it.
How often should I have a facial?
Skin turns over roughly every four weeks, so monthly is the standard recommendation. Every six to eight weeks kept up consistently beats monthly abandoned after two visits.
